Nia – Sensory Based Movement
Thank you to Debbie Rosas, co-founder of the Nia Technique, for an interesting and informative conversation about the sensory based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts.
Debbie Rosas and co-founder Carlos AyaRosas created Nia in 1983. Today, Nia dance/cardio/fitness classes are taught in over 48 countries worldwide. The movement practice “empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit.”
