Dance for Parkinson’s Disease

Thank you to David Leventhall and Brandon (Private) Freeman, artist/instructors with Dance for PD, for an insightful conversation about dance and Parkinson’s disease.

David Levanthall, program director and a founding teacher of Dance for PD, is an award winning ballet/modern dancer who performed with the Mark Morris Dance Group for over a decade. Brandon Freeman, who teaches a Dance for PD class in Denver through the Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies, is also an award winning dancer who performed with ODC/Dance in San Francisco for many years and is now with Wonderbound – formerly Ballet Nouveau. (And if you’re a Matrix fan, you may have seen Brandon dance – he was one of the principal dancers in the movie, The Matrix II: Reloaded.)
